Now hiring for the following positions:
Patient Access Manager: Responsible for managing the day to day operations and supervision of all patient access functions. Must have extensive experience in insurance verification, registration, billing, collections and cashiering services. Acts as a super-user for the hospital’s health information system and provides training and education to hospital staff. Establishes and maintains strong working relationships with members of the medical staff and their offices.
Case Manager: Full-time, days with possible call. Registered nurse with 3-5 years case management experience in an acute care setting required. Prefer Case Management certification and Quality experience.
Critical Care: Full-time, nights and PRN. 3-5 years ICU experience and ACLS required, CCRN preferred. Must be competent in the care of pulmonary, diabetic, post open heart, heart cath and critical care patients.
Surgery: Part-time and PRN, days with call. 2 years of circulating experience in orthopedics, gyn, urology and spine procedures required. Open heart experience a plus.
PreOp/PACU: PRN, days with call. 2 years experience in PACU or ICU required. Must be competent in care of pre-op and post-op orthopedics, cardiac, urology, plastics and spine patients. Current BLS, ACLS and PALS required.
Telemetry: Full-time and PRN, days and nights. 2 years acute care telemetry or critical care experience required.
Ultrasound/Echovascular Technologist: Full-time and PRN. RDMS, RVS or RVT with 5 years’ experience in an acute care setting required. Current BLS and experience in general and vascular ultrasound required.
Echovascular Tech: PRN with call. RDCS or RVT with 2 years’ experience in an acute care setting. Proficient in all aspects of echocardiography, vascular ultrasound and TEEs required. General ultrasound and ACLS a plus.
MLT or MT: PRN. Generalist with 2 years’ experience in a clinical laboratory required. MT/MLT required. ASCP certified or equivalent.
Surgical Technologist: Full-time, days and PRN with rotating call. Certification with 2 years experience with emphasis on orthopedics/spine, cardiac/open hearts, urology, and plastics required.
Social Worker: PRN with call to cover leave of absence and after hours. 2-3 years acute care experience in a hospital setting required. Knowledge of discharge planning, psychiatric assessment and referrals, assessment of patient and family needs, social services planning and referrals to appropriate agencies and facilities required. LMSW preferred.
Hand Therapist: PRN. OT or PT license, CHT certification and 5 years experience required.
Surgery Scheduler: Full time, days. 2 years surgery scheduling experience REQUIRED. Knowledge of surgical procedures and equipment mandatory. Must have ability to multi-task, operate common computer systems, and utilize hospital scheduling and billing software.
Reimbursement Specialist: Full-time, days. 2 years patient and hospital collections senior level experience required. Extensive knowledge of insurance carrier claims payment policies, timely filing and appeal deadlines, appeals process, and overcoming insurance carrier stall tactics. Must have excellent customer service skills.
Insurance Verifier: Full-time, days. 3 years experience with medical insurance benefit verification and insurance payer precertification/authorization requirements required. Extensive knowledge of government and commercial insurance payment polices and requirements essential. Familiarity with diagnostic and/or surgical procedures in a hospital setting required.
Patient Access Rep: Full-time, varied shifts and PRN. 2 years emergency room registration or hospital admitting experience required. Knowledge of insurance payers and benefits/eligibility verification, charge entry, and medical record assembly required. Ability to prioritize work with excellent communication skills. Ability to work well under pressure.
Cook: Full-time with varied shifts. High school degree or equivalent. 2 years scratch cooking experience required with strong culinary background. Must have an understanding of HCCP rules and requirements. Hospital/healthcare experience a plus.
Nutrition Services Attendant: Full-time with rotating weekends. High school degree or equivalent required. 1 year healthcare or restaurant food service experience required. Attendant is responsible for utilizing a wireless network to obtain food selections, delivering patient meals and assisting with food preparation.
