Hospital Facilities Manager: The Facilities Manager is responsible for managing the day to day operations of the department to include:
• Using discretion and independent judgment in organizing and directing the Site Facilities Operations team which includes but is not limited to regulatory compliance and management, quality assurance activities and programs, financial performance and reporting and personnel management and development.
• Accountable for ensuring that all building systems and equipment are maintained in accordance with all applicable State/Federal/Local regulatory requirements.
• Determines the degree of compliance with applicable standards, as directed, specifically in the areas of Joint Commission Environment of Care, CMS, Texas Administrative Code, OSHPD, NFPA101 Life Safety Code-SOC/PFI/ILSM, Safety Management, Security Management, Bio-Hazardous Waste and Hazardous Materials Management and Waste
Minimum 5 year' experience in an acute care hospital required.
Electrophysiology (EP): Full-time, days. 2-3 years of combined Cath Lab and EP experience required. Must have ability to run ER Recording System and take measurements during procedure. Experience running stimulator equipment is preferred.
Surgery: Full-time, days with call. 2 years of circulating experience in orthopedics, spine and ENT procedures preferred.
PACU: PRN, days with call. 2 years’ experience in PACU or ICU required. Must be competent in care of pre-op and post-op orthopedics, cardiac, urology, plastics and spine patients. Knowledge of ASPAN standards of care. Current BLS, ACLS and PALS required.
Emergency: Full-time and PRN, nights. 3-5 years emergency room or critical care experience required. Cardiology experience strongly preferred. BLS, ACLS and PALS required. TNCC or ENPC preferred.
Telemetry: PRN, all shifts. 2 years acute care telemetry or critical care experience required.
Cardiac Cath Tech: Full-time days, will STEMI call. ARRT, MRT with 2-3 years’ experience in an interventional lab scrubbing and monitoring emergent PCI and diagnostic hearth caths required. EP experience is preferred. BLS and ACLS required.
Electrophysiology Tech: Full-time, days. RCIS with 2 years EP experience required. BLS and ACLS required.
CT/Rad Tech: Full-time, days and weekends. ARRT, MRT with 3 years’ experience in an acute care setting required. Proficient in CT-CT Angiography and Radiology procedures. Able to perform with little or no supervision.
MLT or MT: PRN. Generalist with 2 years’ experience in a clinical laboratory required. MT/MLT required. ASCP certified or equivalent.
Hand Therapist: PRN. OT or PT license, CHT certification and 5 years experience required.
Surgical Technologist: Full-time, days with rotating call. Certification with 2 years’ experience with emphasis on orthopedics/spine, cardiac/open hearts, urology, and plastics required. BLS required.
Accountant: Full time, days. BA in Accounting preferred. 2-4 years’ experience in daily accounting, cash, payroll and purchasing transactions and activities required. High level of knowledge in Excel and MedHost software a plus.
Sterile Processing Technician: Full time, evenings with rotating call. 1 year experience working in central sterile environment with knowledge of instrumentation, surgical supplies and sterile operations required. Scrub tech experience preferred.
Patient Care Tech- Emergency: PRN with varied shifts. 2 years’ experience as a unit secretary or patient care provider in an emergency setting required. EMT preferred. Must have basic knowledge of EKG, Phlebotomy, laceration techniques and splitting.
Outpatient Coder: PRN, all shifts. Certification and 5 years outpatient coding experience required. Extensive experience in cardiac, spine and general orthopedics required. Must have the ability to review inpatient records to verify/substantiate diagnosis/procedures and to abstract medical information. Knowledge of ICD-9-CM codes for medical records. Ability to communicate with physician to obtain or clarify diagnosis.
Registrar: Part-time, varied shifts. 2 years hospital admitting registration experience required. Knowledge of insurance payers and benefits/eligibility verification, charge entry, and medical record assembly required. Ability to prioritize work with excellent communication skills. Ability to work well under pressure.
Imaging Scheduler: PRN. 3 years’ experience scheduling diagnostic and radiology procedures in a hospital setting preferred. Knowledge of insurance verification preferred. Excellent computer and customer service skills required.
Reimbursement Specialist: Full-time, days. 2 years patient and hospital collections senior level experience required. Extensive knowledge of insurance carrier claims payment policies, timely filing and appeal deadlines, appeals process, and overcoming insurance carrier stall tactics. Must have excellent customer service skills.
Nutrition Services Attendant: Full-time with rotating weekends. High school degree or equivalent required. 1 year healthcare or restaurant food service experience required. Attendant is responsible for utilizing a wireless network to obtain food selections, delivering patient meals and assisting with food preparation. Food handlers certificate is required.
