Now hiring for the following positions:
Case Manager: Full-time, days with possible call. Registered nurse with 3-5 years case management experience in an acute care setting required. Prefer Case Management certification and Quality experience.
Critical Care: Full-time, nights and PRN. 3-5 years ICU experience and ACLS required, CCRN preferred. Must be competent in the care of pulmonary, diabetic, post open heart, heart cath and critical care patients.
Surgery: Part-time and PRN, days with call. 2 years of circulating experience in orthopedics, gyn, urology and spine procedures required. Open heart experience a plus.
PACU: PRN with call. 2 years’ experience in PACU or ICU required. Must be competent in care of pre-op and post-op orthopedics, cardiac, urology, plastics and spine patients. Knowledge of ASPAN standards of care. Current BLS, ACLS and PALS required.
Telemetry: Full-time and PRN, nights. 2 years acute care telemetry or critical care experience required.
Imaging Supervisor: Full-time, evening. Minimum 2 yr experience in an acute care setting as a lead tech or supervisor required. Must be proficient in CT and diagnostic radiology procedures. MRI experience preferred. ARRT, MRT and BLS required.
CT/Rad/MRI Tech: PRN with call. ARRT, MRT with 5 years’ experience in an acute care setting required. Proficient in cross sectional anatomy in CT and MRI. CTA and x-ray experience a plus. Must have ability to work with little or no supervision.
MLT or MT: PRN. Generalist with 2 years’ experience in a clinical laboratory required. MT/MLT required. ASCP certified or equivalent.
Surgical Technologist: Full-time, days and PRN with rotating call. Certification with 2 years experience with emphasis on orthopedics/spine, cardiac/open hearts, urology, and plastics required.
Hand Therapist: PRN. OT or PT license, CHT certification and 5 years experience required.
Coder: Full-time, days. Certification and 5 years inpatient and outpatient coding experience required. Extensive experience in cardiac, spine and general orthopedics required. Must have the ability to review inpatient records to verify/substantiate diagnosis/procedures and to abstract medical information. Knowledge of ICD-9-CM codes for medical records. Ability to communicate with physician to obtain or clarify diagnosis.
Imaging Scheduler: PRN. 3 years’ experience scheduling diagnostic and radiology procedures in a hospital setting preferred. Knowledge of insurance verification preferred. Excellent computer and customer service skills required.
Reimbursement Specialist: Full-time, days. 2 years patient and hospital collections senior level experience required. Extensive knowledge of insurance carrier claims payment policies, timely filing and appeal deadlines, appeals process, and overcoming insurance carrier stall tactics. Must have excellent customer service skills.
Insurance Verifier: Full-time, days. 3 years experience with medical insurance benefit verification and insurance payer precertification/authorization requirements required. Extensive knowledge of government and commercial insurance payment polices and requirements essential. Familiarity with diagnostic and/or surgical procedures in a hospital setting required.
Patient Access Rep: Full-time, varied shifts and PRN. 2 years emergency room registration or hospital admitting experience required. Knowledge of insurance payers and benefits/eligibility verification, charge entry, and medical record assembly required. Ability to prioritize work with excellent communication skills. Ability to work well under pressure.
Cook: Full-time with varied shifts. High school degree or equivalent. 2 years scratch cooking experience required with strong culinary background. Must have an understanding of HCCP rules and requirements. Hospital/healthcare experience a plus.
