Now hiring for the following positions:

 

As of 11-8-16

Registered Nurse

Critical Care: Full-time, nights. 2-5 years ICU experience and ACLS required, CCRN preferred. Must be competent in the care of pulmonary, diabetic, heart cath and critical care patients.

Electrophysiology (EP): Full-time, days. 2-3 years of combined Cath Lab and EP experience required. Must have ability to run ER Recording System and take measurements during procedure. Experience running stimulator equipment is preferred.

Surgery:  Full-time, part-time and PRN days with call. 2 years of circulating experience in orthopedics, spine and ENT procedures preferred.

Emergency: Full-time days and nights, and part- time, days. 3-5 years emergency room or critical care experience required. Cardiology experience strongly preferred. BLS, ACLS and PALS required. TNCC or ENPC preferred.

Short Stay:PRN, days with call. 2 years’ experience in PACU or ICU required. Must be competent in care of pre-op and post-op patients. Current BLS and ACLS required.

Allied Health 

Physical Therapist: Full-time, days with rotating weekends. Texas license or in process of obtaining license required. New graduates accepted. Acute care and outpatient ortho experience preferred.

Surgical Technologist: Full-time, days and PRN with rotating call. Certification with 2 years’ experience with emphasis on orthopedics/spine, ENT, and plastics required. BLS required.

Endoscopy Tech: PRN, days. One year in an Endoscopy unit and endoscope sterilization knowledge required. CST preferred.

Electrophysiology Tech: Full-time, days. RCIS with 2 years EP experience required. BLS and ACLS required.

Nuclear Medicine Tech: Full-time, days with call. ARRT(N) and/or CNMT with a 5 years’ acute care hospital experience required. Must perform diagnostic x-rays and proficient in all areas of nuclear medicine imaging including nuclear cardiology.

CT/Rad Tech: Full-time, days and weekends and PRN. ARRT, MRT with 3 years’ experience in an acute care setting required. Proficient in CT-CT Angiography and Radiology procedures. Able to perform with little or no supervision.

MRI/CT Tech: Full-time, days. ARRT, MRT with 3 years’ experience in an acute care setting required. Proficient in all aspects of MRI and CT. Must have ability to work with little or no supervision.

Social Worker: PRN with call. 2-3 years acute care experience in a hospital setting required. Knowledge of discharge planning, psychiatric assessment and referrals, assessment of patient and family needs, social services planning and referrals to appropriate agencies and facilities required. LMSW preferred.

Hand Therapist: PRN. OT or PT license, CHT certification and 5 years experience required.

Support

Medical Staff Credentialing Coordinator: Full-time, days with some evenings. High School Diploma or GED required. Prefer Associates degree in related field. Minimum of 3 years previous experience in an office environment supporting administrative functions; 1 year comprehensive credentialing experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred. Understanding of medical terminology, disease entities and treatment desired. Position provides administrative support to the Medical Staff Services Department and the Medical Staff Leadership. Performs credentialing responsibilities in an expeditious manner to bring on new physicians and allied health professionals (practitioners), maintain current practitioner status.

Collector/Cash Poster: Full-time, days. 2 years’ experience posting and reconciling payments received via phone, mail, and lockbox daily. Daily reconciles time of service collections. Balances and maintains the integrity of petty cash bags ensuring change is available when needed. Prepares daily bank deposits. Posts account adjustments ensuring appropriate signature levels have been obtained. Prepares reimbursement check requests for payments received on site for ancillary professional services. Determines appropriate reimbursement distributions. Identifies and resolves credit balances created at the time of payment or adjustment posting.

HIM Specialist: Full-time, days 8:30am-5:00pm. High school graduate or equivalent. 2 year experience in a clinical or hospital medical records department required. Strong process management skills with experience in auditing charts a plus. Must be able to communicate appropriately with the public and with all levels of hospital staff. Responsible for recognizing numbers and filing medical records accurately.

Patient Care Tech-Med/Surg: PRN, nights. 2 years’ experience as a patient care provider in an acute care setting required. Excellent computer skills required. CNA/MA or EMT and BLS required.

Barista: Full-time, 9:30am-6pm. High school degree or equivalent required. 1 year experience making specialty coffee and blended drinks required. Healthcare or restaurant food service experience preferred.

Nutrition Services Attendant: Full-time with rotating weekends. High school degree or equivalent required. 1 year healthcare or restaurant food service experience required. Attendant is responsible for utilizing a wireless network to obtain food selections, delivering patient meals and assisting with food preparation. Food handler’s certificate is required.

Gym Tech:PRN. 2 years high school required. Prefer high school graduate with basis awareness of physical fitness activities, anatomy, and physiology. Basic knowledge of all exercise equipment operation and maintenance provided by the Wellness Center.
